Marco “About” Bevivino

Marco “About” Bevivino est un illustrateur italien. Après avoir commencé comme illustrateur pour affiches de concerts et couvertures de disque mais aussi avec des expos (entre autre à la True Hate Art Gallery ou chez  Mondo POP de Rome)  maintenant il collabore aussi pour Straight To Hell le mythique atelier de sérigraphie romain. il a joué aussi dans le band punk-rock Think About et depuis 2009 il a un duo  avec sa fiancé  (ukulélé+voix) qui s’appelle Pasta e Patate.

Marco “About” Bevivino is an Italian illustrator. He had begun as illustrator for gig posters and albums covers  but also with exhibitions (among others True Hate Art Gallery and  Mondo POP of Rome) now he collaborates too with Straight To Hell the mythical roman screenprinting studio. He also played in punk-rock  bands as Think About and since 2009 he plays in a duo with his  fiancé  (ukulele+voice) and they’re called Pasta e Patate.

 

 

Sophie Crumb

je suis complètement fan de Sophie Crumb, et pas seulement car elle est fille d’art. à être sincère quand je suis tombée sur son blog je ne l’imaginais même pas (puis, bon, entre le nom et le gout artistique j’ai vite fait le rapprochement). au fait je trouve son style  très personnel (bien que dans son blog elle dise le contraire.) et attachant. elle a un super coup de crayon et ses sketches plus “perso” sont addictifs. visitez son blog!

I am completely a fan of  Sophie Crumb‘s art,  and not only because she ‘s an art daughter . To be sincere when I stumbled upon her blog I didn’t even imagine it (then well, between the name and the artistic taste I understood quite fast). As a matter of fact I find her style very personal  (although she sayd the opposite in her blog ) and attaching. She has a great pencil stroke and her more “personal” sketches are addictifs. visit her blog!

Ango The Meek Dead

Angelo Ango Visone, est né dans Milano en 1973. Il vit et travaille  à Berlin. Diplômé
en “design de scène”  à l’ Accademia Delle Belle Arti Di Brera à Milano,  Il œuvre avec

Angelo Ango Visone, was born in Milano in 1973. He lives and works in Berlin. Graduated

Caroline Sury

je suis fière comme un dindon, une de mes dessinatrices préférées me cite dans sa bande dessinée! elle s’appelle Caroline Sury et la bande dessinée c’est Cou Tordu .

I am proud as turkey, one of my favorite cartoonist/artist quotes me in her comic strip! Her name is Caroline Sury and the comic strip it is Cou Tordu (Twisted Neck).

à ne pas oublier son Bébé 2000,l’histoire de sa grossesse cachée à son mari, l’artiste de talent Pakito Bolino et de toutes les péripéties d’une vraie arty mom. l’histoire n’est ni édulcoré ni bête, enfin, tout ce que j’aime.

Carolines Sury et Pakito Bolino sont les fondateurs du groupe les DERNIER CRI (si vous ne les connaissez pas allez faire un tour sur leur site que -entre autre- a été réalisé par le mythique Mr.Ftz).

au fait il y a 10 ans (DIX!!!) j’allai chez eux pour une semaine pour travailler à un court animé qu’il fut inséré dans leur film “les réligions sauvages“; et dans cette bande dessinée – Cou Tordu – elle parle vraiment de ces temps, de ses engagements pour arriver à gérer les artistes qu’ils allaient chez eux, les envois des livres des DERNIER CRI, les séances chez l’ostéopathe pour son cou tordu, sans oublier la gestion de son BBébé 2000 qu’il s’appelle Oscar et que je me rappelle tout pitchoun avec un merveilleuse petite frange et que maintenant il sera certain un pré-adolescent qui mesure 3metres.

quelle émotion! je ne voulais pas me la péter mais je voulais quand même partager avec le monde (enfin…avec vous, lecteurs) cette chose cool. tout ça il se passait  il y a plusieurs années, je pensais même pas qu’elle se rappelât de moi, alors me cite entre les artistes qui passèrent chez eux!!!

Not to forget is her Caroline’s Web: Four Trimesters with Caroline and Pakito (Bébé 2000), the story of its pregnancy hidden from her husband, the talented artist Pakito Bolino and all the life of a real arty mom. the story is neither sweetened nor stupid, finally, all that I love.

Caroline and Pakito Bolino are the founders of the group le DERNIER CRI (if you do not know them go heir site that  was realized by mythical Mr.Ftz).

10 years ago (TEN!!!) I went to theyr home for a week to work on a court that  was inserted into their movie les réligions sauvages (the wild réligions); and in this comic strip – Cou Tordu – she really speaks about these times, about her commitments “to manage to manage” the artists that comes, the books from le DERNIER CRI , the sessions to the osteopath for the twisted neck, without forgetting the rising of her  Bébé 200.

I know that this is not a place to speak about “myself” but…What an emotion! I wanted to share with the world (finally with you, readers) this cool thing. ( my visit there took place several years ago, I thought that she barely would had remember me so whe i saw that she quotes me in the book me between the artists i feel proud!)

Scott Radke

la premier fois que j’ai vu le travail de  Scott Radke, c’était il y a quelques année sur myspace (oui, myspace, vous vous souvenez? c’était avant facebook et twitter) j’ai été très marqué par sont style “pictural” sur des volumes et dans ma tête j’ai cryé: “woooow! je veux vivre dans le monde où vivent ces peintures animées, ces créatures mythiques!“. après, avec les mois et les années, j’ai un petit peu oublié ce monde tout bizarre; et cela jusqu’au aujourd’hui quand j’ai trébuché sur son site encore une fois et je me suis dite que il fallait que je le mets sur le true hate blog pour ne plus jamais l’oublier. s’il vous plait, visitez son site et allez “apprécier” son  facebook

when i firts saw the work of Scott Radke, some years ago on myspace (yeah, myspace, can you remember it? it was before facebook and twitter) i was marked by the painting-like act on his 3D works. i remember sayn’ loud in my head:”woow! i want to live in a world with those animated painting ,and mythical, creatures!“. after, within the months and the years, i quite forgot all this strange world. but today i stumbled on his website again and i taught that i must put him in the true hate blog, so i’ll don’t forget him anymore. so please, visit his webiste and also “like” him on his facebook

Alhambra, CA – Gallery Nucleus and Caro are pleased to once again present the much anticipated art and fashion event Sweet Streets. Last year’s hugely successful event attracted hundreds of art and fashion enthusiasts.

This year, over 70 artists spanning the globe were invited to create 2D and 3D works where Japanese street fashions serves as the inspiration. This resulted in over 100 original works of art that are vibrant, exciting, playful, and diverse – evoking much the sentiments of those infamous Tokyo streets.

From delightful kawaii plush dolls to whimsical drawings and realistic paintings, there will surely be something to inspire everyone. Alongside artwork, attendees will be treated to an evening filled with fun activities and features. Including a fashion show by the sensational Japanese fashion brand 6%DOKIDOKI, music spun by Tune in Tokyo – featured in LA
Weekly’s 2010 People Issue, live model figure drawing, raffle drawings, free refreshments, food trucks and more.

Additionally, fashionistas can get their shopping on with featured pop-up shops by So So Happy, 6%DOKIDOKI, and Chubby Bunny Accessories, not to mention Nucleus’ own stock of unique Japanese art books and products.

En utilisant le sable coloré, Naoshi dessine des gens  peu réalistes vivant dans un monde bien réel
En peignant pensées quotidiennes et émotions comme la joie, le bonheur, la peine ou l’anxiété.
En ramassant du sable de ses mains, elle dit que chaque jour passe comme les grains de sable qui tombent librement par ses doigts.
Naoshi fait son art en espérant qu’elle puisse vivre chaque jour brillant  comme ce sable coloré.
